Lazy Sunday

Hi again!  It's me!  It's been a quiet day here at home. Don't have to go anywhere! Tay is making a fort as I write this so she's gonna have things strewn around everywhere!  But she's also gonna have a blast!!!  I've got a load of laundry in (my first of about 4) and I really need to clean up the kitchen (and dining table and living room and my closet-are you seeing a pattern???)  there's clutter everywhere and it's driving me nuts so I see some picking up in my very near future!  :D  Tay went through her jewelry and make-up and weeded out the stuff she doesn't want anymore and then went through her babies again and got rid of MORE!!  I'm sooo proud of her!! She's growing up!! Sometimes it just hits me that she's going to be 8 in a couple of months and how much she has changed and grown up and her way of thinking is just evolving!! AND I LOVE EVERY MINUTE OF IT!! 

Went to Whole Foods yesterday after work with Mom and Tay (thanks again Mom for keeping her while I worked OT!!) That store is addictive!! I was only going to get some Muir Glen fire roasted tomatoes -not that I really needed them yet- and $70 later..... but we got some good stuff! I can get brown rice for 99 cents/lb and I got some trail mixes and some salad stuff and pizzas for dinner last night!! I do have to say the bbq chicken pizza was so Yummy!! Maybe not worth it for the money but it made for an easy dinner and movie- Watched Despicable Me!! Sooooo cute! Love the Minions!! Had popcorn for dessert to keep with the movie theme!  Might have to make a movie night a regular thing!

Have to make a menu for the week. Trying to keep it simple because I'll be working late everyday as far as I know. We're going to have meatloaf muffins with buttered potatoes and a vege tonight. one night this week we;re going to have pasta and sauce- the rest of the week still has to be planned.

I really need to do this more of! I really do enjoy taking a few minutes and telling you (if there are any of you) about my quiet life. It really is a boring life but it's mine and it's all I've got. Yay to the Bibble!!  :D

Still here

Yep, still here!  Life is still pretty quiet. Got a new phone- the Droid x...love it love it love it!!! Even Tay asks to play with it.  My mini "vacation" is half way over- I go back to work on tuesday but have to go to PHX for some training or group discussion or something... All I know for sure is it's mandatory and I don't want to go. Oh well- I got picked for a reason and I won't be getting more interviews. Hopefully someone will complete my due cases but I'm not holding my breath. Going to call dad tomorrow and see how things are there in Abalama and say thanks for the check. I also want to make granola bars. I have  to decide which recipe I want to use--- or I might just make 'em all. we'll see. I also want to catch up on some of my recorded shows. too many things to do and never enough time. lol!  anyway- it's 1030 and I want to put my jammies on and head to the couch and veg. Nite all!

Word of the Year

Hmmm...My word of the year?  Maybe "CHANGE" or "PROGRESS" or "IMPROVEMENT". I guess I'm gonna have to ponder this.... I can feel it...it's on the tip of my tongue....wait for it..wait for it...yep, still waiting for it... damn.. it'll come to me when it's time!
